Audi made its world unveiling with the R8 Spyder, a great efficiency and future appearance of high-designated design at 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show.

With minor upgrades, the R8 Spyder comes with an extra chassis support compared to the coupé model and is powered by a 5.2 FSI V10 engine along with the legendary Quattro all wheel drive system. The R8 Spyder is equipped with manual transmission and has an impressive fuel consumption of 14.9 litres per 100 km.

The exterior design is a combination of lightweight quality, ideal size and torsional stiffness. With the upmost precision, the body largely assembled by hand gives out an exceptional allure. R8 Spyder 5.2 FSI comes also with dual-branch exhaust system that features dual tailpipes and the Quattro rolls on 19-inch wheels of 10-spoke Y design. A sports suspension with conventional shock absorbers is available as an option.
