The Audi A7 Sportback, internally designated Typ 4G, is an executive-class five-door coupe vehicle created by Audi. Like the fourth-generation Audi A6, the A7 is based on the Volkswagen Group MLB platform. It was publicized at the Pinakothek der Moderne Art Museum in Munich on 27 July 2010 and debuted at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. The A7 is the successor of a concept car; the Audi Sport back concept revealed at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show and marked the revisit of Audi to the executive coupé market since the first-generation Audi 100 Coupé S.

The Audi A7 is propelled by a 3.0T FSI Quattro S Tronic with a maximum power of 220kW at 5250 - 6500 rpm and max torque of 440Nm 2900 - 4500 rpm and a top speed of 250km/h. The 3.0T FSI can reach 100 km/h in only 5.6 seconds and has an emission of 190g/km of CO2. The car is also powered by 3.0 TDI S Tronic with a top speed of 250km/h and can reach up to 100km/h in 6.3 sec. The maximum of torque of the TDI is 500Nm at 1500-3000 rpm and a maximum power of 180 kW at 4000 - 4500 rpm. Both engines are a 7 speed S Tronic gearbox.

The A7 splendid peripheral has an 18” cast aluminium wheels in 7 arm dynamic design. The aluminium trim on the window surround gives the 5-door fastback a different look. The A7 has exterior mirrors electrically folded and heated with auto dimming with memory function and optional electric sunroof and Servo closing door. As mostly all Audi cars, the A7 has LED headlights perceived to be far more pleasant by the human eye due to their brighter colour. Additional feature is the S line Exterior package comprising of the front and rear bumpers, the side ventilation grilles and the diffuser insert in striking sporty design. Centre front spoiler lip and diffuser insert in Platinum Grey. The door sill trims with S line logo and S line logo on front wings and the chrome plated exhaust pipe trim can also be fitted on the car.

The Milano leather seat trim and Burr Walnut inlays set the contest to the sumptuousness and comfortable interior of the Audi A7. The car has a 4 spoke multifunction leather steering wheel with shift paddle and the 2-zone Climatronic air conditioning system. The driver is assisted with a Park Distance Control Advanced with rear view camera and cruise control. Electrically adjustable features mounted on the car are the exterior mirrors with memory function, front seats with memory function for driver's seat and steering column.

The dashboard and door trim panel is only available with interior trims titanium grey and velvet beige as well as front and rear floor mats with an interior lighting package. Bluetooth/wireless cell phone preparation and Audi Drive Select with MMI Radio Plus with active speakers are also available on the A7.

Optional InCar entertainment is the DVD Changer and Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound system that is only available with satellite navigation and Bose Sound System. Meanwhile the optional interior package comes with the S line Sport package including: Valcona leather with imprinted S line logo, cast aluminium alloy wheels in 5 twin-spoke design, door sill trims with S line logo. The front sports seats and interior in black, headlining in black cloth, matt brushed aluminium inlays, the S line logo on front wing and the 3 spoke multifunction steering wheel with S line badge and gear knob in black perforated leather can also be found optionally on the A7.

Safety measures such as child seat anchor, on front passenger seat and the optional Head-up display, with a full colour, virtual image within the windscreen have been placed in the A7 for higher lever of security. Other features comprise of the Audi Side Assist with Pre sense in the rear that analyses the traffic behind the car in conjunction with Audi Side Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control (with stop & go function) and Pre sense Front and the Pre sense Basic. As the vehicle pulls away the automatic seat belt pretensioner is activated once. If Pre sense Basic detects an unusual driving manoeuvre, various fully reversible measures can be implemented including: belt tensioning, closing of optional sunroof and side windows, hazard lights activated. All features including the optional one are available in the A7 Sportback for a better protections and security of the occupant of the car.
